Parent-Child Mother Goose
Mother Goose is a program where moms, dads, or other caregivers bring their children, aged 0 to 4 years, to meet with other parents and children from their community and to learn rhymes, songs, and stories to share with their children.

The program focuses on teaching parents songs and rhymes to:

  • help calm upset children
  • build strong bonds between parent and child
  • have fun and play with their children

Nobody's Perfect
"There are no perfect parents. There are no perfect children. We can only do our best."
Nobody's Perfect offers parents a chance to share questions, experiences, joys, and resource ideas with one another. Each session includes stress buster and relaxation exercises along with information sharing through a variety of media: discussion with notes and pictures, video, craft activities, and hands on activities with the children. Topics include stages of child development, behaviour guidance, learning through play, safety, prevention of and dealing with stress for both children and parents, and other topics brought up by participants.

  • Facilitating client access to community services

Public Education
